About Amy Murphree Landscape Design
Regardless of project size, Amy Murphree Landscape Design develops designs that are appropriate in both scale and function. Projects range from intimate gardens and outdoor living areas to full master plans and expensive public spaces.
Meet Amy
Growing up in Winter Park Florida, Amy gleaned a knowledge and love of gardens while helping her parents maintain their landscape. Years later, while pursuing an art/graphic design degree at Samford University, Amy continued to grow her passion for horticulture and garden design by putting ideas on paper. Shortly after graduating from Samford University, she pursued a degree in Landscape and Horticulture at Jeff State and began designing landscapes, first for neighbors and friends and then for other clients as demand for her work grew.
Amy continues to instill every project with creativity and beauty. She loves to interact with clients and strongly values the relationships that evolve throughout the process. In all of her professional endeavors, whether creating a private courtyard or teaming up with architects, interior designers, engineers or contractors on a new home, Amy’s purpose is always to serve the homeowner and bring a vision to life.
When she is not designing landscapes, Amy enjoys time with her husband, Michael, and their children, Major, Belle, and Asher.
Amy Murphree Landscape Design Services
Quality and professionalism are first when it comes to the services I provide. Read below to learn more about what I offer.

We meet at your home to learn about your individual needs and dreams for your landscape/garden. During this visit, we review your property’s unique features and constraints. I will begin photographing and measuring your property. It is very helpful if you can provide a site map. We then discuss timeline and depending on the size of the project it can take approximately 2-4 weeks to complete a plan. I work with many different contractors
and can make suggestions if you don’t already have someone who can execute the project.
